A Golden Summer Wedding on the Family Farm

Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Others begin quietly and patiently, waiting for the perfect moment.

Brooke and Jared's story began years ago in the hallways and classrooms they shared from kindergarten through high school. They grew up together, but it wasn't until Brooke was nearly finished with college that they finally went on their first date. A trip to G&D Pizza followed by a drive around Columbia looking at Christmas lights turned into something much more. From that day on, they were inseparable.

On June 20, 2026, surrounded by the people who love them most, Brooke and Jared celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together on Brooke's family farm.

The day could not have been more beautiful. A mild summer breeze, blue skies overhead, and sunshine stretching across the countryside created the perfect setting for a wedding filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

The morning began with excitement as Brooke and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. Before slipping into their dresses, the ladies gathered together for a special toast. Mimosas were raised, hugs were shared, and laughter filled the room as they celebrated the bride-to-be.

After the morning toasts and celebration with her bridesmaids, Brooke slipped away for one final quiet moment before the excitement of the day fully unfolded. Surrounded by calm and anticipation, she shared a sweet and intimate moment with her mom as she stepped into her wedding gown.

Together, they carefully completed each finishing touch: the earrings, her boots, and finally the breathtaking cathedral veil that cascaded behind her.

Meanwhile, the guys were creating memories of their own. In true groomsmen fashion, they saw the waterslide and decided it would make the perfect prop for a group photo. Thankfully, everyone maintained their balance and stayed completely dry, but it certainly added a little extra fun to the day.

One of the most emotional moments came during Brooke's first look with her father. As he turned and saw his daughter dressed as a bride, emotion immediately overtook him. It was a beautiful reminder of just how meaningful this day was for the entire family.

Guests arriving at the farm were greeted by one of the most unique touches of the day, trams pulled by tractors that transported everyone to the ceremony site. Waiting at the end of the ride was a breathtaking scene: a golden wheat field glowing beneath the late afternoon sun.

One of the most memorable arrivals of the day belonged to Brooke and her father. As guests waited in the golden wheat field, they made their way to the ceremony site in a beautiful cherry-red vintage Chevrolet pickup truck. Gleaming in the afternoon sunshine, the truck was a perfect reflection of the farm setting and added a touch of timeless charm to the celebration.

As the truck pulled into view, all eyes turned toward Brooke. Sitting beside her father, she looked radiant as she prepared to walk down the aisle. It was a moment that felt both nostalgic and deeply meaningful, a daughter sharing one last ride with her dad before beginning a new chapter with the love of her life.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Brooke and her Dad stood on the other side of the white double doors, waiting for her entrance. The doors opened.

As Jared watched Brooke make her way toward him, emotion washed over his face. His eyes filled with tears as he saw his bride, and it was clear just how much this moment meant to him. Standing nearby, his mom couldn't help but become emotional herself. Watching the love and joy radiating from her son brought tears to her eyes as she witnessed the beginning of a new chapter in his life. It was a tender reminder that a wedding day is not only about two people coming together, but also about the families who have loved and supported them along the way.

Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered back at the farm to celebrate. The reception was filled with energy, laughter, dancing, and countless hugs from loved ones who were thrilled to witness the beginning of their marriage. Jared's father said a heartfelt prayer for all in attendance, and the food... Delicious! Every table was full, every dance floor moment was joyful, and every interaction reflected just how deeply this couple is loved.

Brooke and Jared's love is difficult to describe because it isn't loud or flashy. Instead, it is soft and steady. It's found in the way they look at one another, the quiet smiles they share, and the comfort they bring to each other. Anyone who spent even a few minutes around them could see it.

Brooke and Jared, thank you for allowing us to be part of such an incredible day. Your wedding was beautiful from beginning to end, but what we'll remember most is the genuine love you share. It is quiet, steadfast, and unmistakable.

We are so excited for the life you will build together and wish you both a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and love.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Holiman!
