Cole + Katelyn

Some weddings just feel like magic from start to finish—and Katelyn and Cole’s big day at Fairy Tale Estates in Mexico, Missouri, was exactly that: a perfect blend of elegance, rustic charm, and heartfelt moments.

Katelyn was nothing short of radiant in her sparkling gown, complete with a flowing train and veil. She took everyone’s breath away—but before her walk down the aisle, she shared two tender first looks: one with her bridesmaids (cue all the gasps and happy tears), and one with her dad, who held her close in a moment full of emotion neither will soon forget.

Meanwhile, Cole and his groomsmen made one of the most unforgettable groom entrances we’ve ever seen. Channeling NFL game-day energy, the guys hyped each other up as music played and Cole arrived, his suit still in a garment bag slung over his shoulder. It was fun, personal, and totally them, setting the tone for a celebration full of joy and authenticity.

From the moment guests arrived, they were swept into a world of romance. The venue was adorned with dreamy white lights, delicate florals, and cascading greenery. Centerpieces created the illusion of floating flowers, and warm wood and gold accents tied the whole theme together in a breathtaking way. Pale pinks and soft greens rounded out the color palette, setting the tone for a day that felt both timeless and deeply personal.

As the ceremony began, Cole walked his mother down the aisle, sharing a sweet moment and a playful handshake with his dad before taking his place. Then, as Katelyn appeared at the end of the aisle, time seemed to slow. Cole was overcome with emotion and wiped tears from his eyes when he saw Katelyn walking toward him, gorgeous, exquisite. Beautiful. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged vows, said their heartfelt “I do’s,” and sealed it all with a kiss that had the entire crowd cheering.

Dinner was preceded by the cutting of the cake. A stunning, floral-decorated cake sat atop the couple’s table, bearing a golden “W”. After dinner, and one of the evening’s most touching moments: a surprise speech from Katelyn’s father. His words were full of love and pride, and as he, Katelyn, and Cole embraced with tears in their eyes, the room "awwed" and applauded such a powerful moment.

Laughter filled the air, and then the celebration rolled into full swing. Katelyn and Cole shared their first dance under the soft glow of string lights, surrounded by smiling faces. Cole’s dance with his mother was especially moving—her joyful tears melted the hearts of everyone, including this photographer.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the wedding party lit sparklers and lined up to give the newlyweds the send-off they deserved. Katelyn and Cole walked hand in hand through the glittering archway of light, their love quite literally lighting up the night.

It was a day full of laughter, tears, celebration, and the kind of love you can feel in your soul. Katelyn and Cole, thank you for letting us be part of your fairy tale.
