Michael + Haylee

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, Haylee and Michael said I do in the breathtaking setting of Elysian Fields in Bates City, Missouri, just outside of Kansas City. Surrounded by their families and closest friends, their wedding day was filled with beauty, laughter, and moments that will be remembered forever.

Haylee was an absolute vision in her gown, her cathedral veil trailing behind her and green jewels delicately tucked into her hair, making her look like a goddess. Michael looked so sharp in his dark suit, accented by a flashing designer tie that showed off his style. Before the ceremony, Haylee’s mom and her maid of honor, Katlynn, helped her put on her dress. Quiet laughter and tears filled the room as the three of them soaked in that sacred moment together.

I quickly learned that Haylee is equal parts stunning and hilarious. Between striking over-the-top poses and pulling silly faces, she had me and the team laughing all afternoon; her joy is infectious.

Before the ceremony began, the officiant added a unique twist: he announced that there were two items hidden under the guests’ seats. After some searching, Michael’s dad discovered a ring, and a young guest found a sprig of baby’s breath. Just like that, they were officially named the ring bearer and the “flower guy”, and they both carried out their new duties perfectly, making the couple proud.

Haylee made her way down the hill toward the ceremony as music filled the air. When Michael saw his bride for the first time, the love and longing in his eyes said everything. Their vows were spoken, their promises sealed, and down the aisle they shared a sweeping kiss before Michael scooped up his bride and carried her away, pure joy and excitement radiating from them both.

The reception was just as heartfelt and fun. Toasts were made, laughter shared, and tears flowed as the traditional dances began, plus one special addition: a beautiful dance shared between Haylee and her mom, which had the bridesmaids in tears. After the cake was cut and sweetly shared, the dance floor opened and the party began. At one point, a couple of the groomsmen decided to stage a wrestling match in the middle of the festivities, and Michael’s little sister decided her brother needed backup, jumping right in! Everyone, even the “wrestling crew,” was doubled over in laughter.

Haylee and Michael, thank you for letting us capture your incredible day. From the laughter to the tears, to the sweeping kisses and epic dance floor moments, it was an honor to witness the beginning of your forever. We pray countless blessings over your marriage and your new life together.
