Many couples meet on dating apps, these two however met in a game lobby on Xbox, I believe they played Call of Duty, never imagining they'd meet their other half on a video game. He was in Florida, she was in Missouri and he made his way to her.
Rain clouds threatened and there were moments of rain, but it ended up being a perfect day for a wedding, and on Halloween. A favorite day of the year for these two. And a favorite movie for the groom. Halloween that is, he even walked down the aisle, while I looked over my shoulder for Michael Myers. 😁
The bride was in the bridal suite and the groom was upstairs in the groom suite at The Larimore Wedding Venue in St. Louis, Missouri. The groom's Dad, Frank, helped him get ready with a few buttons here and fixing the bow tie there.
The bride's Mom and Aunt helped her into her dress, and oh my, what an absolutely gorgeous dress it was, with the bride's butterfly tattoos adding to the fairy tail feel. After we did a fun and tearful first look with the bridesmaids, we whisked the bride out into the main sitting room of the Larimore and the bride and groom shared a "first touch" and read their vows, just the two of them, for each other.
The ceremony was beautifully done with a tying of the knot, both the bride and groom's dad's helped ty the knot around the couples hands, and a blessing said over their marriage. They exchanged rings and then Tyler wrapped that woman up and kissed her. Something I instruct my couples to do a lot and everyone cheered.
These two had a great wedding party. Every one the bridesmaids and groomsmen were kind, supportive, gracious and a blast. We threw the groom, we wrapped ourselves in fur, we walked, laughed and captured moments of joy. And as we moved into the couples portraits, these two gave me magic, as expected.
Their family and friends came together to make sure everything was decorated and ready to go for the reception. It was all classically done and beautiful. They had their grand entrance into the reception with all the guests on their feet and cheering the newlyweds. Everyone ate, enjoyed a signature drink called "Witches Brew" before the dances and cake cutting. During the cake cutting, Rayn had an Oscar moment, and changed dresses. She took her Mom's wedding dress, refashioned it into an adorable cocktail dress, and the two cut the cake, fed each other a sweet little piece, while their son shared in the moment with them. They fed each other while in the corner you can see he's ready for some cake. Priceless!
Thank you to Rayn and Tyler for letting be a part of your day. It was perfect! We pray for many blessings for you and your family. Hugs you two!
