Some wedding days are simply filled to the brim with heart, laughter, and meaning, and Bayliee and Ryan’s was exactly that.

Although these two officially tied the knot in the UK back in October 2024 (Notice they didn't invite me to capture that, but I have since forgiven them. ❤), they knew they wanted to celebrate their marriage with those closest to them here in the States. And what better way than with a beautiful, intimate wedding at Campus Lutheran Church in Columbia, Missouri?

Their day began with quiet excitement as Bayliee got ready, surrounded by love. Just before the ceremony, Ryan surprised her with an incredibly thoughtful gift, a hand-painted portrait of one of their favorite photos from their UK wedding. It was a moment that touched everyone in the room (including this photographer and her amazing videographer). The thoughtfulness, the emotion, it was absolutely perfect.

Bayliee and Ryan chose the historic Columns at the University of Missouri for their first look. It was private, sweet, and full of genuine joy. After capturing a few portraits around the Columns, we headed back over to the Campus Lutheran Church for their heartfelt ceremony.

Inside Campus Lutheran Church, hymns filled the space as the couple exchanged vows, and once the pastor joined them in marriage they lit their unity candle. It was simple, sacred, and sincere, just like them. Following the ceremony, we snapped a few family portraits before heading back to the Mizzou campus for more couple portraits at Memorial Student Union, AP Green Chapel and the place where they met, Schlundt Hall. These two were total naturals—easygoing, fun, and so in love.

One especially sweet moment? On the walk back, when Bayliee’s feet began to ache, Ryan scooped her up and carried her for a bit. Honestly, it doesn’t get more adorable than that.
Their reception was relaxed and joyful, filled with good food, warm toasts. It was less about formality and more about connection, spending time with the people who mean the most. We even caught some fun group photos and one group may have even made a human pyramid. They did! I have the photo to prove it. So much fun. So much laughter.

Bayliee and Ryan, thank you for letting us be part of your celebration. Your love is kind, genuine, and full of heart—and it was an honor to witness. Wishing you both all the joy and adventure in the world. Hugs always!
